The International School of Moscow follows the English National Curriculum as developed by the British Government. It is a standardised programme and is delivered here in Moscow the same way as any British School worldwide.
It is The International School of Moscow's policy to employ teachers with outstanding professional credentials from the UK with relevant experience delivering the English National Curriculum. On occasion, the school will also employ outstanding teachers with other internationally recognised qualifications and British curriculum experience.
In order to be qualified, teachers must possess a degree (usually a 3 year course at UK University) coupled with a specialised and relevant Educational/Teaching diploma issued by a reputable institution (usually 1 year). Alternatively, teachers take a specialised 4-year teaching degree, leading to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification.
