Mission Statement

TeacherPort’s Mission Statement is to help teachers find suitable overseas teaching positions so they can enrich themselves and their careers through the experience of teaching abroad.

The TeacherPort.com Website, including all information, text, visual images, code, software, products and services used or available via the Website (collectively labeled as the "Website" or “Platform”), is owned and operated by Anderson Rivers Ltd. ("TeacherPort.com," “TeacherPort,” "we," "our," or "us"). Our Website is for the use of our members ("Members," “Teachers,” "you" or "your") only. Our Website enables our Members to learn about, and apply for, teaching employment opportunities with Employers who subscribe with us to have a TeacherPort Employer Profile and to post job listings to the TeacherPort Platform ("Employers"). We agree to provide you with access to our Website subject to these Terms of Use. In consideration for your use of our Website, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms of Use, without reservation.

BY REGISTERING FOR OR ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER, YOU INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT REGISTER FOR, ACCESS OR USE OUR WEBSITE.

Modifications to TeacherPort.com Website or to the Terms of Use

We reserve the right to alter, modify, make improvements to our Website at any time. You will not receive prior notice of these changes to our Website. We may notify you of changes on our Website in emails we send to our Members or Employers.

We also reserve the right to make any changes to our Terms of Use or impose new conditions on the use of the Website. When we make these changes we will post the revised Terms of Use on our Website. The revised Terms of Use will be effective immediately upon their posting on our Website. By continuing to access our Website, you are agreeing to abide by any modified versions of our Terms of Use  of our Website.

2. Your Rights and Obligations

Registration & Eligibility

If you choose to become a Member on our Website, you must complete a simple registration Form presented to you upon Registration. You agree (1) to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Website's registration form, and (2) to maintain and promptly update the information you provide to us in order to keep your information true, accurate, current and complete. If you are applying for employment on our Website, you will be required to complete a CV on TeacherPort. By completing your CV, you agree (1) to provide true, accurate and complete information as requested to complete your CV and (2) to update this information to ensure that your CV is true and relevant at the time you a are applying for jobs on our Website. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that the information in your CV is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Website (or any portion thereof) by you.

To log onto our Website, you will need to submit your registered email address and password. You are responsible for keeping this information safe and confidential and you assume responsibility of actions on our Website that have occurred under your Account, operating through the access of your email address and password.

To be eligible to use our Website, you represent and agree that you: (1) are not currently restricted from using our Website, or not otherwise prohibited from having an account with us; (2) are not a competitor of ours and are not using the Website for reasons that are in competition with us; (3) are not using our Website to gather information about our Employers or the overseas teaching job market; (4) will only maintain one account with us at any given time; (5) have full power and authority to enter into this agreement with us and to be bound by these Terms of Use; (6) will not violate any rights of using our Website, including intellectual property rights such as copyright, trademark rights.

Your Responsibilities

We intend our Website to be used for lawful purposes by individuals to search, find, and apply for, suitable employment overseas. You may not use our Website for any purpose or in any manner that is prohibited by the Terms of Use or by applicable law. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our website complies with these Terms of Use and to seek prior permission from us for any uses not permitted or specified herein. If you do any of the items listed as numbers 6 to 16 below, we may, at our sole discretion, terminate your access to our Website.

When using our Website, you agree that you will:

1) Comply with all applicable laws, including, without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements;
2) Provide accurate information to us and update it as necessary;
3) Review and comply with our Privacy Policy

13) Use bots or other automated methods to add or download contacts, send or redirect messages or perform other permitted activities;
14) Engage in "framing," "mirroring," or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of our Website;
15) Infringe or use our brand, logos and/or trademarks except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
16) Upload, post to CV or Job, transmit or otherwise make available or initiate any content that:

                                                           a.                   Falsely states, impersonates or otherwise misrepresents your identity, including but not limited to the use of a pseudonym, or misrepresenting your current or previous positions and qualifications, or your affiliations with a person or entity, past or present;

                                                           b.                  Is unlawful, libelous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable;

                                                           c.                   Contains software viruses, worms, or any other computer code, files or programs that interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment of ours or any Member; and/or

We do our best to safeguard the confidentiality of the information you submit to our Website. However, it is impossible for any website to guarantee that your information is 100% secure as perfect security does not exist on the internet; We cannot and do not guarantee that any personally identifiable information provided to our Website will not become public under any circumstances, but we can guarantee that we use industry standard procedures to ensure that your information is protected to a high level.

Operation of Website

We will continue to operate, grow and improve TeacherPort.com and as a result we allow you access our website and we encourage you to provide feedback on how we can make the service even better. At times we may modify, replace or refuse access to our website, and each of these scenarios will be at our full discretion. You can be assured that we are continuing to try to better the service for our users and we appreciate your patience as we develop our Website.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated within these Terms of Use and are made an integral part hereof. You should review our Privacy Policy carefully before agreeing to use our Website. Our Privacy Policy governs our treatment of information about you, including personally identifiable information that you submit to use when you register and create a TeacherPort CV. You acknowledge that your submission of any Content to us is completely voluntary on your part.

TeacherPort.com Intellectual Property

All of the design, text, and graphics of our Website, as well as the selection and arrangement thereof, are belonging to TeacherPort.com and Anderson Rivers Ltd. All other product names and company names or logos included on the Website are the property of their respective owners.

You may not use the Website or any portion thereof to create or re-create a similar or competing service. Any use of the content of this Website not expressly permitted by these Terms of Use, or permitted in writing by us prior to your use, is a breach of these Terms of Use and is strictly prohibited.

Our Website contains material that is protected by the copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws of the Republic of Ireland. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any material, including code and software, from our Website, except as expressly set forth above. Collection Of Your Content

Our service is designed to make our members’ job search a more efficient and less time consuming process. In order for us to provide our service, we are required to gather and process information that is submitted by our members in their registration and on their TeacherPort CV. Although we give our members full control over who can view their information (i.e. the Member must submit their CV to an Employer or the Member must mark an Employer as a Preferred Employer in order for the Employer to be able to view their information) we cannot guarantee what person or entity will view their information once it has been granted to any particular Employer on our Website.

You acknowledge and consent that we may access and disclose your registration information, your CV information and any other information you provide to us if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary in our opinion to: (i) comply with legal process, including but not limited to civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures; (ii) enforce these Terms of Use; (iii) respond to claims of a violation of the rights of third parties, whether or not the third party is a Member, individual, or government agency; (iv) respond to customer service inquiries; or (5) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Anderson Rivers Ltd, our Members or the public.

No Professional Advice

Our Website is designed to allow teachers to explore what overseas teaching opportunities are available to them. None of our services or materials constitutes advice about employment, career decisions, legal, tax or any other professional advice. We may comment or display our thoughts on a range of issues through our Website Blog, but this information is not to be taken as professional advice in any way.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
